Tangy dill brings brightness and vibrancy to a true classic Thanksgiving side.

            Ingredients
4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/4 cup whole milk
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons fresh dill
salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
-
Place the cubed potatoes in a large pot of salted water.
 -
Bring the water to a boil and reduce the heat to medium-high.
 -
Simmer the potatoes for 15 to 20 minutes, until they are tender and can be pierced easily with a fork.
 -
Drain the potatoes in a colander and return them to the pot.
 -
Add butter to the pot and mash the potatoes with a potato masher until they are smooth and free of lumps.
 -
Gradually add the milk to the potatoes, stirring constantly, until the mixture is creamy and smooth.
 -
Stir in the fresh dill and season with salt and pepper to taste.
 -
Continue to stir the mashed potatoes until the dill is evenly distributed.
 -
Serve the dill mashed potatoes warm and garnished with additional fresh dill.
